Process safety -Technical Scribe

Job Description:

1. Technical scribe shall be responsible to attend and provide live documentation support to chairman during HSE- workshops such as HAZID, ENVID, OHID, ISD, HAZOP, SIL, Bow-Tie etc.
2. Technical scribe shall actively capture workshop discussions in clear, professional, and structured formats.
3. Familiarization with software tools such as PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications used in HSE workshops.
4. Strong understanding of key technical documents such as PFDs, P&IDs and shall able to interpret HSE documents required for HSE workshops.
5. The Technical Scribe shall be responsible in the preparation of node markups and worksheets and ensuring timely delivery of HSE workshop reports.
6. Familiarization with Process Safety standards and regulations (e.g. ADNOC, QatarEnergy, etc.,)

Basic Qualifications for Technical Scribe:

• Engineering degree, or equivalent in relevant experience (Preferably Chemical, Petrochemical, Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 2 years experience in Technical Scribing for Oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Proficient in typing skills with 90 words per minute
• Excellent presentation and written / oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment
