Location: Abu Dhabi
We currently have a vacancy to join a leading provider of comprehensive aviation services based in the Middle East, as a Armament / Avionics Technician (AH-64E). The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and offers a full relocation package for the successful candidate.
The company specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region. Whilst their head office is based in Abu Dhabi, they have a number of operational facilities across various UAE military bases and aviation sites.The company plays a key role in supporting the UAE Armed Forces and other regional air forces. They support a wide range of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including military helicopters such as Black Hawks, Chinooks and Apaches as well as transport aircraft such as C130 Hercules.
Their services include line and base maintenance, avionics, airframe and engine repair and comprehensive logistical support.
Reporting to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
The AH-64E Armament/Electrical/Avionics Systems Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and effectiveness of the Apache helicopter, including but not limited to performing inspections at various maintenance levels (Unit, Intermediate, and Depot) for the AH-64E Apache.Also, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneudraulic systems associated with the armament and missile fire control systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft electrical, avionics, armament systems and equipment in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.
- Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
- Documentation of maintenance using forms and records in accordance with applicable technical publications, regulations, and company / local SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Adhere to all safety protocols during maintenance activities to prevent accidents and Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; the final aim being to enable the customer&aposs technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out self-sufficient aircraft armament / electrical repair capability.
- Carry out all assigned tasks from the immediate Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

About You:
- FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License / Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license is preferred.
- Minimum High-School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor&aposs Degree / Diploma in Aviation Maintenance or Aeronautical Engineering is a plus.
- Military 15Y Course or Military experience in Electrical /Avionics Engineering.
- Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.
- Be able to read, write and understand English.
- Must be willing to travel in support of the companys operational requirements.
- Knowledge of computer applications. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite and applications (Word Excel Power Point-Project) Outlook, Adobe and the internet.
