Team Leader, Maintenance (Industrial)
Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead the execution of planned and unplanned Industrial maintenance activities such as preventive, corrective ,predictive and breakdown maintenance for ADNOC Distribution Depots terminals, , LPG Plants, including tanksand pipelines for all installations and their facilities in the region.. This includes managing and supervision of
activities to ensure efficiency, quality and meeting deadlines.Ensuring compliance with industrial standards followed for mechanical, electrical & Instrumentation works inaccordance with the ADD maintenance strategy & HSE standards to ensure reliability, integrity and optimalperformance of our operations for high productivity in line with ADNOC industrial best practices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Maintenance Planning and Management
u2022 Lead the execution of all industrial maintenance planned and unplanned activities in all sites to ensureeffective and timely completion with optimum cost and resource utilization.u2022 Direct the maintenance engineers and supervisors in respective regions to closely monitor maintenanceperformance score card KPIs and ensure targets are achieved as well as the HSE and Asset Integrityand process safety (AIPS) KPIu2019s.
u2022 Ensure compliance and execution of the maintenance programs such as: preventive, corrective,breakdowns, predictive and maintenance of HSECES Critical Equipment Systems.u2022 Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is adhered to all the maintenance activities at all theregions as per ADNOC standard and procedures.
u2022 Facilitate the AIPS and HSE Assurance program implementation in terms of Leadership Site Visits,WMS Audits and Contractor Safety compliance.
u2022 Cascade the AI ideas and new initiatives with coordination and keeping up with latest technologies andbring value to the organization.
u2022 Ensure the effective forecasting of resources (Spare-parts & Manpower) to ensure timely availability ofresources, systems and procedures for execution in accordance with production plans.
u2022 Manage and ensure the maintenance work orders completion reports whilst provide guidance whenrequired to ensure the operational standards are in accordance with ADNOC Distribution set standards.u2022 Oversee the employee faugue management and wellbeing.
u2022 Ensure the provision of a timely response to all relevant emergencies/ breakdowns and promptcorrective action is taken to ensure service availability/minimize production downtime.
u2022 Manages and direct to assigned supervisors and the team in carrying out maintenance work relatedactivities in all ADNOC-DIST Industrial locations at assigned regions and provide advise on alltechnical matters related to Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Mechanical Systems., .
u2022 Manage and liaise with planning team leader to ensure development of Planned Maintenance programand schedule the works for depots, terminals , LPG plants and associated pipelines, vessels, Tanks,loading bays in respective regions.u2022 EnsureLead the team to comply with company codes/regulations/engineering practices are adheredwith high standards. .
u2022 Develops/reviews division procedures and standing instructions for AD Industrial Maintenance team toensure adherence to Qualities and Standards.
u2022 Optimum utilization of Inhouse/ Third party resources for maintenance activities.
u2022 Leiase with technical department to approves technical changes for implementation to ensurerequirement is met with minimum cost as per MOC system.
u2022 Controls cost on Maintenance Activities including the Maintenance Projects
u2022 Maintains constant interaction with the Control & Automation Systems Engineer to ensure properfunctioning of all the PLC/ DCS control systems and to ensure effective compliance to SIS and Alarmmanagement KPIs.u2022 Works with Inspection & Corrosion Teams to check & review corrosion, erosion, failure patterns, statusof Cathodic protection systems and advise Preventive & corrective Action.
u2022 Laises with general maintenance team for any support needed for civil and general maintenance works.
u2022 Ensure readiness to be available to immediately respond to all critical and/or safety relatedmaintenance concerns.
u2022 Support the project team during the ongoing project life cycle in different studies such as: HAZOP,HAZID, AMHAZ workshops. In Addition to SAT, FAT, and the project handovers/ deliverables with snaglisting, PAC and FAC.
Technical Advice, performance monitoring and improvement
u2022 Provides technical advice to internal customers, in particular Operations and HSE Departmentregarding technology selection, equipment selection, asset retirement, major project specificationreview, accident/ incident investigations, repetitive fault analysis, system improvement etc.
u2022 Leads development of periodic performance and achievements reports, including statistical analysisand identifying continuous improvements agreed action plans/ benchmark maintenance performanceidentifying areas for improvement and providing solutions.
u2022 Support Industrial Maintenance Department manager in planning, developing, and implementingmaintenance methods and procedures designed to reduce downtime, minimize operating costs, andoptimize the utilization of technicians, materials and assets.
Contract Management
u2022 Planning, supervising, controlling outsourced maintenance contractors to ensure quality ofworkmanship and compliance with specifications and engineering standards.u2022 Directs and supervises the compilation of detailed work scopes for mechanical, instrument, electricaland civil works that will be subject of tender enquires.
u2022 Decides on agency or in-house repairs and leads breakdown maintenance of equipmentu2019s and assetsusing third party / agency when in-house capabilities are not adequate.
Inventory Management
u2022 Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts and critical items necessary formaintenance and ensure that all items pertaining to maintenance are available at all times and at anadequate level. Also arranges purchase through standing offers or existing contracts.
u2022 Manage effective spares management of all maintenance requirements in terms of supply contracts,activities related to the ordering, receipt and utilization of materials and maintaining the stock level whileensuring timely replenishment of resources in coordination with Procurement, Purchasing & MaterialManagement team.
New Projects
u2022 Plans and coordinates at the team level all major maintenance requirements as well as projects relatedto replacement and augmentation assigned to Maintenance division.u2022 Participates in projects reviews like HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and Risk Assessments etc as and whenrequired.
u2022 Provides Third party Technical and Engineering comments on u201CNew Projectu201D and u201CModificationu201Dproposals developed by Engineering and Projects Division and liaises as necessary for precommissioning/commissioning.
Others
u2022 Oversees timely and periodic inspection and calibration of meters and other equipmentu2019s by third partyagencies and government departments.u2022 Responsible for obtaining and maintaining formal quality assurance certification such as ISO 9001-2000for the maintenance processes in the Depot in AD region.
u2022 Processes all third-party notice of intents and request for utility information regarding major GovernmentProjects that could affect ADNOC Distribution interests.
u2022 Keeps abreast of changes in relevant standards and improvements in associated technology andmaintenance practices.
u2022 Performs other similar or related duties regarding maintenance as and when assigned by IndustrialMaintenance Department Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation.
u2022 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry in maintenance and operations role, including 5 yearsin managerial responsibilities.
