POSITION OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Group Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's business activities comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.The position involves managing regulatory licensing applications across the group, staying abreast of industry regulations, and implementing effective compliance programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that licensing applications are progressed efficiently and in alignment with defined project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support on the end-to-end process of maintaining ongoing regulatory license applications (e.g., e-money, MSB, EMI, PSP and VASP) across various jurisdictions
- Maintain an internal regulatory roadmap and licensing tracker, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with local regulatory obligations
- Maintain an up-to-date Regulatory Obligation Register and Licensing Project Plans for each licensing application
- Conduct regulatory gap assessments and readiness checks prior to market entry and product launch
- Work with local legal and regulatory counsels on the licensing application and update licensing tracker
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure policies, procedures, and documentation align with regulatory requirements
- Stay up to date with industry laws, regulations, and standards, communicating changes to relevant departments
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions and help implement solutions
- Assist in the development of risk management strategies to mitigate compliance risks
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on licensing, preferably in the FINTECH (Payments and Digital Assets) industry
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with compliance management software and auditing tools is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Certification in compliance (e.g., CAMS and CFCS) is a plus
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify, evaluate, and effectively address compliance issues
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and advising
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, risks, and gaps in policies and practices
