As an Engineering Repairs Coordinator you will plan, monitor and administer progress of aftermarket processes supporting efficient management of repair/ overhaul/modification of components and engine/APU at the repair service providers, at optimal cost and within agreed repair turnaround time (RTAT).
In This Role You Will- Ensure effective stakeholder communication as part of the management of processes and in enabling clear communication for better end-to-end planning and control across the process chain.
- Maintain close coordination with all relevant stakeholders including but not limited to Material Planning, Overhaul workshops, Fleet Technical Management etc. to support Material Service Level KPI.
- Coordinate with repair service providers/stakeholders to ensure that repairs processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Review and expedite repair orders to support critical shortage items cases on a daily basis including critical shortage/nil-stock items at the time of repair order, during RTAT period and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
- Prepare review of repair quotations. Ensure correctness of work scope, warranty disposition and cost.
- Prepare justification of the charges and submit for approval as per Limit Of Authority.
- Review all scrap dispositions as per contractual terms, established economic threshold and warranty applicability Prepare disposal justification and submit for approval as per Limit Of Authority.
- Ensure regular communication with Engine Maintenance Centre and other repair service providers to compile the material support requirements for engines on repair and arrange availability of parts to ensure efficient operation.
- Inspect and process all unserviceable items received from Maintenance, Overhaul workshop and Warehouse. Escalate issues related to modification, warranty applicability, status of installed components etc to ensure accurate data prior to generating repair order or transfer of parts to in-house workshops.
- Inspect and initiate the scrap disposal process for items declared scrapped by maintenance or Beyond Economical Repair providing all justifications to be submitted for approval of the request as per Limit Of Authority.
- Ensure proper stacking of unserviceable parts in the Repair Process and Dispatch to allow for effective utilisation of space whilst maintaining all health and safety requirements.
- Package parts in proper shipping containers to ensure secure transportation to the point of destination.
- Coordinate with Material Planning Rotable and Warehouse & Logistics teams on shipping of Serviceable parts to outstations for operational support.
- In case of AOG shipments, communicate with AOG Desk to ensure, parts are handled in accordance with the priority assigned to support the recovery of aircraft and mitigate impact on operations.
- Communicate with supplier / supplier designated freight forwarders for safe and secure transportation and receipt of parts. Ensure system is updated to reflect the status of the shipment to allow for proper support planning.
- Extract and evaluate all sets of data relating to In-House Capability or Alternate Repair & Supply.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders for the compilation of the information and analysis to assist in the decision making process.
- Ensure the repair work called out on the Repair Order (RO) is in accordance with the engine manual and liaise with the Production Inspector to correct any discrepancies noted.
- Ensure that all the Service Bulletin (SB) and Airworthiness Directive (AD) are called out on the Repair Order (RO) as per engine Workscope.
- Ensure outgoing ROs have all the relevant documents attached before handing over the shipment for processing.
- Co-ordinate with internal and external stake holders for any queries raised against a repair call out from the vendor and provide revised RO&aposs as required.

- Liaise with relevant stakeholders for the compilation of the information and analysis to assist in the decision-making process.
- Maintain Vendor and Part Level RO performance data to allow for vendor management activities to take place.
Qualification
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:
- Technical degree, 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Airline Engineering / Supply Chain and MRO Procurement Function/ Airline Supply Chain / Procurement Function.
- At least 1 year of experience in Engineering - Materials & Stores.
- Industry experience in supply chain management, Warehouse and Logistics, Repairs Management, Material Planning/Support & Inventory Control, Technical Purchasing or any other support services.
- Preference will be given to personal with experience in Supervisory role in Engineering Repairs Management in an airline/third party maintenance base or any other large Engineering Organisation.
