Job Description
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale civil construction and infrastructure projects in accordance with approved objectives, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop and implement project execution strategies, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, client expectations, and organizational goals.
- Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure all civil works are completed in compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and performance indicators, and implement corrective actions to address delays, risks, or operational challenges.
- Manage project budgets, cost control measures, financial forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure optimal project profitability and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, government authorities, consultants, utility providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee contract administration activities, including contract compliance, variation orders, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and the implementation of effective risk management strategies.
- Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices are maintained across all project activities and sites.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, project schedules, procurement plans, and resource deployment strategies to optimize project delivery.
- Lead project review meetings and provide accurate progress reports, financial updates, and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Ensure the timely procurement and availability of materials, equipment, and workforce resources required for uninterrupted project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, innovation, and value engineering solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to tender evaluations, project feasibility assessments, client presentations, and the pursuit of new civil construction opportunities.
