We are looking for a reliable and professional Reservations Agent (Night Support) to provide out-of-hours support for our London office.
In this role, you will handle guest and client enquiries during UK night-time hours, effectively replacing our outsourced call-handling service. You will be the first point of contact for overnight calls, ensuring a seamless guest experience and professional service at all times.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Guest Communication & Call Handling- Handle inbound calls for the London office during UK night-time hours.
- Provide accurate information and assistance to guests and clients.
- Escalate urgent issues to the appropriate duty manager or on-call team.
- Ensure all communication reflects Urban Chics professional brand standards.
- Manage out-of-hours booking enquiries and process reservations where required.
- Maintain call logs and update reservation records accurately.
- Prepare daily handover reports for the London reservations team.
- Coordinate with the London team to ensure a smooth follow-up on guest needs.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in hospitality, reservations, or customer service.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts reliably and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling bookings.
- Calm, professional, and empathetic approach to guest enquiries.
- Familiarity with reservation and payment platforms(RMS, Dove, Stripe or similar).
Desirable:
- Experience with reservations or property management systems.
- Prior experience in serviced apartments or hotels.
- Familiarity with international hospitality markets.
Qualifications
Desirable but not essential:
- Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
