Job Description
The Role
As Planning Director, you will lead the planning function across multiple flagship developments, ensuring robust project controls, accurate forecasting, and strategic programme delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
You will work closely with executive leadership, project directors, and client stakeholders to drive performance, mitigate risk, and maintain the highest standards of project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the planning department across major projects
- Develop, implement, and oversee project planning strategies and systems
- Ensure accurate project scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring
- Provide critical path analysis and recovery strategies where required
- Support tendering teams with programme development and risk analysis
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with contractual obligations
- Present planning insights and reports to senior stakeholders and clients
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of planners
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years experience in project planning within the construction sector
- Proven experience on luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
- Prior experience working with a main contractor in the GCC/UAE
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
