Job Description

Job Purpose:

The jobholder will lead the team to accelerate the agile deliveryof technology projects across EKFC, ensuring teams are focused on strategic objectives, business case protocols, clear development lifecycles and common decision gates by coordinating & driving continuous improvement across all IT functions as well as governance and decision-making processes that support business continuity, disaster recovery, risk and audit activities.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Oversee and ensure the alignment of IT projects (HCM, ERP etc.) and business-specific technology projects with organizational goals to drive successful project planning and delivery.
  2. Implement Agile methodologies and ensure high-quality project delivery through rigorous quality assurance processes.
  3. Define & design applicable IT governance model tailored to the projects to ensure that they are meet business needs and expectations.
  4. Evaluate and approve technology solutions that align with project goals and business needs.
  5. Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions that ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  6. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring team members, promoting professional development, and ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, exploring new technologies and methodologies to bring innovative ideas to the organization.
  8. Develop and execute plans, set goals and KPIs to track IT project success.
  9. Monitor and mitigate technical challenges & external risks, through incorporation of regular monitoring, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies throughout the project's lifecycle.
  10. Champion process enhancements and standardization across business units for better technology deployment.

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering / technology / computer science is a must. MBA is preferred.
  • ITIL certification (must have)

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in a leadership position with preferably as an IT Head Project / Program Management, Service Delivery and Portfolio Management in a large or medium size company. Having gone through at least 3 full life cycle implementations of ERP Oracle Fusion with all major modules
  • Prior experience on ERP/Oracle.
  • Experience with big data analytics, ML/AI, business intelligence, and automation technologies.

Skills:

  • Expertise in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Ability to drive innovation within the IT department by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong skills in engaging with business leaders, department heads, and external partners to understand their needs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings, providing updates on project progress, and addressing concerns.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Experience and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their application in IT projects.
  • Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements to ensure data security and privacy.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to streamline project delivery processes.
  • Expertise in overseeing QA processes to ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Proficiency in implementing Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to changing requirements.
  • Strong leadership, influencing and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work effectively, to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
