The opportunity
We are seeking a sales manager to lead global used unit sales and support the commercial manager in achieving ambitious growth objectives. This is a high-impact, client-facing role requiring strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver results in the gas turbine and power sectors.You will travel extensively across Kazakhstan, Middle East, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Africa to develop opportunities and represent the business.
Key responsibilities- Drive used unit sales globally, achieving revenue targets and business growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and technological developments to guide strategy.
- Plan and execute marketing, branding, and promotional initiatives.
- Manage and grow existing contracts and long-term service agreements.
- Collaborate with the finance team on forecasting, budgeting, sales performance, and funding requirements.
- Partner with the commercial manager and independent sales representatives to capture new opportunities.
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Promote and maintain high standards in quality, health, safety & environment.
- Proven experience in sales within the gas turbine and power industry.
- Specific expertise in used unit sales.
- Degree-level education (engineering and business combination preferred).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Proactive, confident, and able to work independently while building strong internal and external networks.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kazakhstan, Middle East, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Africa.
