Supervisor, Mechanical (Civil Airports)
Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To supervise safe and efficient execution of preventive & corrective maintenance, inspections, and repair worksfor all static and mobile mechanical systems and equipment at ADNOC Aviation Depots at civil airports i.e.in all over the UAE as per Aviation standards and manufacturersrecommendations whilst ensuring optimum utilisation of manpower and material resources.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Mechanical Maintenance Supervision
u2022 Supervises the service, repair and maintenance activities of all mechanical systems and equipmentincluding all pipelines, valves, transfer pumps, measurement instruments, process facilities, aircompressors and storage tanks, to ensure that maintenance is carried out in accordance with JIG,company standards and other relevant aviation standards, proper engineering and technicalstandards and safety and environmental requirements.
u2022 Reviews and allocates all daily work orders received Aviation Fuelling stations and Storage facilities forany maintenance works required. Coordinates with Team manager for scheduling and implementationof required repair and maintenance works.
u2022 Coordinates with end users for all repairs, replacement, modification, calibration, overhaul etc. carriedout by tradesmen to ensure smooth progress of all scheduled repair and preventive maintenanceworks.u2022 Ensures carrying out regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of all all mechanicalequipment such as product Pumps & pipelines, Storage tanks, Air compressors & generatorequipment, fuel dispensing unit. Inspects equipment for signs of corrosion, assists in implementinganti corrosive/ protection techniques, maintains records and monitors condition continually.
u2022 Ensures that all breakdowns in his area of responsibility are attended to promptly and equipment isreturned to service as soon as possible.u2022 Ensures all safety precautions are taken and work permits are issued before commencement of thework and the instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work.
u2022 Ensures that major overhaul of mechanical equipment, in his area of responsibility testing andcalibration of equipment components and installations is carried out as per laid down procedures andstandards.u2022 Investigates and reports recurring defects on mechanical equipment in his field of responsibility to hissupervisor.
u2022 Performs any other related duties as assigned by Mechanical Maintenance team leader, as and whennecessary.
u2022 Prepares stores requisitions for spare parts required for his area of work.
u2022 Checks stores stock requisition for correct part numbers and specifications, including maximum andminimum levels.
u2022 Ensures that all the jobs are carried out as per Aviation Operations Standards and the laid down workinstructions.
u2022 Ensures that the documents in his custody are maintained and updated as per Document ControlProcedures.
General Maintenance
u2022 Supervise and ensure maintenance and repair of ADNOC facilities in all civil aviation locations in the UAE and Strategic Customers location includingcarpentry, painting works, is properly carried out by third party contractors etc.u2022 Timely raise and highlight to team leader and department manager if any major civil and generalmaintenance work is to be performed etc.
Continuous Improvement, reporting and analysisu2022 Assists in establishing methods, controls and standards for the actual execution of maintenance work
u2022 Recommends improvements on work methods and keeps up to date with the latest work techniques and standards.

u2022 Evaluates and analyses man hours and costs on individual, maintenance and modifications to ensure optimum utilisation of manpower and material resources in implementation of scheduled maintenance programs.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
u2022 Diploma in Mechanicalu2022 5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance department of an Aviation Fuelling company.
u2022 Expert level competency of Aviation equipment and vehicles.
u2022 Good knowledge of English.
u2022 Valid UAE driving license.
