Senior Urban Designer

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Dubai, is seeking a talented and creative Senior Urban Designer to join their dynamic design team. You will play a key role in shaping innovative urban environments across a range of landmark projects in the UAE and wider region.This role offers excellent growth potential and the chance to work on masterplans, mixed-use developments, and public realm strategies that contribute to the future of the Middle East's urban fabric.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptualization and development of urban design strategies, masterplans, and public realm schemes.
- Collaborate closely with planners, architects, landscape architects, and engineers to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Interpret client briefs and contribute to bid proposals and presentations.
- Develop high-quality graphics, reports, and deliverables to communicate urban design visions effectively.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement and client meetings.
- Coordinate with internal teams and sub-consultants to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Stay updated with regional planning guidelines, urban development trends, and sustainability standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or Urban Planning.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in urban design, preferably within the GCC region.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience on large-scale urban and masterplanning projects.
- Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and GIS; knowledge of Rhino is an advantage.
- Excellent design, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of urban design principles, placemaking, and sustainable development.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
