Job Description

The Client:

Our client is a well-established brand name in the FMCG sector, with a wide-reaching footprint across the globe. They are looking to appoint a seasoned Head of Trade Marketing to be based in Dubai, with a strong focus on driving trade marketing initiatives across the Saudi market.

The Role:

As the Head of Trade Marketing, you will lead the regional trade marketing strategy, driving brand visibility, execution, and channel engagement across key markets, particularly Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and distributor teams to develop impactful trade programs that elevate market share and presence.

• Develop and execute a robust trade marketing strategy across GCC, with Saudi Arabia as the core focus.
• Design, lead, and monitor promotional campaigns and retail execution standards.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product launches and activations.
• Analyse trade performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Manage budgets, optimize trade spends, and maximize ROI.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
• Lead and mentor a regional trade marketing team to ensure consistent execution and growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience in FMCG trade marketing with strong regional exposure.
• Strong experience in the Saudi market is a MUST, and the role requires frequent travel to KSA - NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Proven leadership experience in managing trade marketing strategies and teams.
• Deep understanding of GCC retail environments, with expertise in both traditional and modern trade.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, trade marketing tools, and performance tracking systems.
