Job Purpose / Summary
Leads and manages the technical service team, ensuring efficient after-sales support including installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Provides technical guidance to the sales team and coordinates with the principal for warranty activations and product updates.Oversees workshop operations, technician scheduling, and resource planning to maintain service quality and efficiency. Drives continuous improvement, staff development, and customer satisfaction through streamlined processes and technical excellence.
Job Description:
Lead the technical team by allocating resources effectively, assigning tasks based on skills, and providing ongoing support.
Support the Sales team with technical inputs to help close customer deals.
Oversee all after-sales services including installation, commissioning, warranty activation, repairs, and maintenance.
Coordinate to register sold refrigeration units, activate warranties, and ensure updates and bulletins are shared with technicians.
Provide product performance feedback, manage failure reports, and seek special warranty approvals when needed.
Organize regular training sessions to enhance technicians knowledge and reduce rework.
Manage technician scheduling, including on-site assignments, overtime, and leave planning, ensuring workflow continuity.
Continuously improving workshop operations by identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste, and maintaining standards in quality and time management.
Ensure availability and procurement of the right tools and equipment for efficient job execution.
Develop service pricing strategies, monitor repair quality, and ensure customer satisfaction with all delivered services.
