Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Translator. The Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written content from one language to another while ensuring cultural and contextual accuracy. The role involves reviewing and editing translations, adhering to project deadlines, and collaborating with the team to maintain consistency in communication.The Translator will play a critical role in supporting Filo's mission to make education accessible globally by eliminating language barriers.
Qualifications- Proficiency in at least two languages, including fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Strong translation skills with the ability to maintain cultural and contextual accuracy
- Experience in proofreading and editing translated materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with educational content and e-learning industry preferred
- Proficiency with translation tools and software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is advantageous
