Are you passionate about social media, storytelling, and digital content This internship is your chance to get real, hands-on experience supporting one of the region's leading digital shows — learning how a high-performing social media operation runs from the inside.
As a Social Media Intern, you'll work closely with the Social Media Manager and Executive on the day-to-day execution of #ABtalks platforms. From supporting episode releases and daily content publishing, to drafting captions, selecting music for clips, and helping with reporting — you'll be involved at every stage and guided every step of the way.
This is a role built for someone who wants to grow into a full Social Media Executive and is ready to learn by doing.
What You'll Be Learning & Doing- Episode Release Support
- Shadow and assist the Social Media Manager and Executive through full episode release workflows across all platforms
- Support the uploading and publishing of episodes on YouTube, including helping prepare supporting assets such as trailers, guest intros, clips, and carousels
- Learn to write and optimize YouTube descriptions, captions, SEO titles, tags, and timestamps under close supervision
- Assist in coordinating with editors and the design team to ensure release assets are ready and aligned with the episode schedule
- Support the preparation and sending of the weekly release newsletter and media emails
- Content Posting & Publishing
- Assist with the daily posting and scheduling of content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, X, Snapchat, and Spotify
- Learn how to manage high-volume content output across multiple platforms simultaneously
- Support with selecting music and sounds for short-form clips on Reels and TikTok
- Develop an understanding of how captions, visuals, hashtags, and formatting are tailored per platform
- Build consistency in brand tone, visuals, and posting cadence across all channels
- Written Content & Captions
- Assist in writing captions and short-form copy for social media content and episode releases
- Contribute to YouTube episode descriptions, newsletter drafts, and LinkedIn copy under guidance
- Learn how to adapt tone across platforms — thoughtful and human on LinkedIn, engaging and conversational on Instagram, punchy and trend-driven on TikTok
- Reporting & Analytics Support
- Assist in preparing weekly internal media reports by pulling data and consolidating insights from all platforms
- Help track performance of episode releases and learn how to benchmark content against channel standards
- Support the Social Media Executive in compiling sponsor and client reports when needed
- Help monitor audience interactions and flag trends, feedback, or notable moments to the Social Media Manager.
- A current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
- Genuinely passionate about social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
- A strong team player who takes initiative and follows through
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Trustworthy, professional, and eager to learn
- Fluent in English and Arabic — both written and spoken — is a must
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms and how they behave
- Interest or exposure to social media marketing, content creation, or copywriting
- Strong instincts for tone, storytelling, and language
- Basic awareness of SEO, keywords, and analytics is a plus
- A fast-learning, detail-driven mindset — even personal projects or university work count as experience
- Hands-on experience working on one of the region's most-watched digital shows
- Direct mentorship, training, and regular feedback from the Social Media Manager and Executive
- Real exposure to social media strategy, episode releases, content reporting, and platform execution
- A strong foundation and clear pathway toward growing into a Social Media Executive role
- A formal recommendation letter upon successful completion of the internship
