About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Collections Officer to join our team in Dubai. The role is responsible for managing receivables, following up with clients, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end collections process, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices.
  • Contact clients via phone, email, and in person to secure payments and resolve account issues.
  • Negotiate payment terms and settlements in line with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment commitments.
  • Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to reconcile accounts and address disputes.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on collection status, aging analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and flag potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE laws, and financial regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term business partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 24 years of proven experience in collections, receivables, or credit control (preferably in the UAE).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a must
  • Valid UAE driving license and own car are mandatory.
