Mep Project Manager (Mechanical)

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager (Mechanical Background) to oversee and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across large-scale EMAAR residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with main contractors or subcontractors in the UAE, with a proven ability to deliver complex MEP packages on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full MEP scope from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements in accordance with EMAAR and authority standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure timely execution.
- Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.) and project specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, quality, and cost related to MEP systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues, and participate in coordination and progress meetings.
- Manage procurement and logistics of MEP-related materials and equipment.
- Maintain all project documentation and reporting related to MEP works.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all MEP activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in MEP roles within the UAE construction sector.
- Must have delivered at least 2 to 3 EMAAR residential or commercial projects.
- Strong background working with main contracting or reputed subcontracting companies.
- Hands-on experience with MEP works on mid to high-rise buildings.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with EMAAR standards and UAE authority procedures.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and related technical software.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and MEP team performance.
- Strong focus on quality control, safety compliance, and timely delivery.
