Job description
In this role, you will lead and oversee all aspects of client relationships and delivery of fund administration services to a mix of clients. The role involves leading and overseeing client integrations, conversions and strategic projects. Working closely with the commercial team as well as stakeholders across the organization, you will contribute to ongoing development, refinement, implementation of and adherence to best practice controls processes and controls in line with the overall mission, culture and values of IQ-EQ.
This is a key role in terms of client relationships and, as such, is expected to include significant client interaction at a senior level (CFO, Director of Finance, Head of Investor Relations), acting as the main contact and escalation point for several high-profile engagements.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)?- You will maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service and product offering.
- Leverage existing client relationships to secure new business and assist in the offering of IQ-EQ's products and services.
- In partnership with other stakeholders, facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients, including system demonstrations.
- Identify new areas of growth by understanding the industry and regulatory environment while being sensitive to industry changes and business trends.
- Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities.
- In partnership with the internal departments, oversee the resolution of complex client issues.
- Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration.
- Identify issues and concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any or all high risk projects.
- Actively manage operational risk – monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess (as a minimum):
- A detailed understanding of private equity and other close-ended fund structures and the fund administration industry.
- A detailed understanding of UAE's regulatory requirements pertaining to funds.
- 8-10 years' experience in fund accounting and a professional degree in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of e-Front and/or Paxus preferred.
- Microsoft Office skills with a focus on Excel skills.
