Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a construction manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, coordinating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, supervising contractors and workforce to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Manage project risks, resolve issues, and make decisive decisions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to review and approve designs and specifications.
• Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with local building codes and construction practices in Dubai and the UAE.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
