About the Client:
One of the leading construction and real estate development firm based in the UAE specializing in the execution of large-scale high-rise residential projects.
Job Description:
- Lead and manage the technical department, ensuring all engineering designs, documentation, and drawings meet required standards.
- Review and approve technical submissions while ensuring compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams to resolve design conflicts, propose solutions, and mitigate technical risks.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, support value engineering, and prepare high-level technical reports and updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Technical Manager or similar senior engineering role in the UAE; With proven experience working on high-rise building projects
- Must have strong understanding of UAE regulations, permitting processes, construction codes, and authority requirements.
- Proficient in engineering design tools and software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.).
