Global AI Platform – Phase 1 Commercial Build
We're supporting a well-capitalized AI infrastructure platform entering Phase 1 of its global roll out.
The technical team is forming.
The site pipeline is being built.
Now they need the commercial engine.
This hire will define how the platform engages the market.
The Mandate
Establish and lead the AI infrastructure commercial function
This is not a pure sales role.
It's origination.
It's strategy.
It's market intelligence.
It's shaping capital deployment decisions.
You'll engage hyperscalers, GPU aggregators, AI-native platforms and system integrators — while feeding live demand data back into executive decision-making.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, with board-level visibility.
What You'll Be Doing- Building and managing a structured pipeline of AI / HPC customers
- Engaging hyperscalers, GPU ecosystem players and AI-native infrastructure buyers
- Mapping regional demand, pricing benchmarks and absorption trends
- Leading early-stage commercial discussions and structuring indicative term sheets
- Feeding commercial insight directly into site-selection and capital allocation decisions
- Identifying partnership and resale strategies across GPU capacity, colocation and AI cloud services
- Reporting quarterly to ExCo on competitive positioning and market evolution
This role sits at the centre of revenue strategy and geographic expansion.
The Profile
We're looking for someone who understands both the infrastructure and the buyer.
Likely background:
- 10–15 years in commercial or business development within data centres, AI infrastructure or digital infrastructure platforms
- Track record of originating and closing multi-megawatt agreements
- Strong network across U.S.-based AI infrastructure buyers and GPU ecosystem participants
- Comfortable building pricing models, commercial forecasts and investment cases
- Able to present credibly at board level
You'll need to combine sales instinct with strategic intelligence.
Relationship-driven, but analytically sharp.
Why This Role- AI platform entering the market
- Direct access to executive decision-making
- Influence over where capital gets deployed
- Opportunity to build the commercial engine from day one
If you're currently selling capacity — but want to shape the strategy behind where and why it gets built — this is a different level of mandate.
Happy to discuss in confidence.
