Role Description

We are seeking a talented 2D Game Animator (Spine2D) for a full-time, on-site position in Dubai. The animator will create high-quality 2D animations using Spine2D for characters, environments, and visual effects, ensuring they align with the game's creative vision.

The animator will collaborate closely with the design, art, and development teams to bring dynamic and visually appealing game elements to life.

⚠️ Important

This is not a generic animation role.

We are specifically looking for someone who:

Has worked on slot or iGaming projects before
Understands game feel and player feedback loops
Can deliver production-ready Spine files

What You'll Do

Create animations using Spine (Esoteric Software)
Animate:
Slot characters (idle, win, big win, bonus, anticipation)
Symbol animations (loop, trigger, highlight)
UI effects & feature transitions
Prepare clean rigging setups for reusable animation systems
Work closely with:
Game Designers (for timing & feel)
Developers (integration & performance)
2D Artists (asset preparation & layering)
Optimize animations for real-time performance (web/mobile)

What We're Looking For

Strong experience with Spine
Proven work in iGaming / slot games
Solid understanding of:
Animation principles (timing, weight, anticipation)
Looping animations & state transitions
Ability to:
Work with layered PSD assets
Prepare clean and production-ready rigs
Attention to detail in:
Smooth transitions
Responsive feedback animations (win/lose states)

Big Plus (Nice to Have)

Experience with:
PixiJS or web-based game engines
Unity (2D pipelines)
Understanding of:
Slot game mechanics (free spins, bonus, multipliers)
Performance constraints in HTML5 games
Basic knowledge of:
VFX (particles, glow, FX layering)
