Analyst Invoicing - 6 Months Contract Role

We are currently hiring a Analyst Invoicing - 6 Months Contract Role on behalf of a prestigious client, based in their Dubai office.
Job Purpose:
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) activities such as supplier invoice processing, debit/ credit memo processing, petty cash,reconciliations, reimbursement of expenses, etc. accurately and on a timely basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Process all supplier/ vendor invoices on a regular basis (e.g. invoice receipt and check, invoice entry, validation, etc.).
Coordinate with the relevant business units (Supply Management) or the supplier/ vendor for any clarifications or issues identified on the invoice.
Process supplier/ vendor credit/ debit memo and obtain approval from the relevant authorities prior to posting of the transaction in the system.
Ensure that all outstanding AP transactions (e.g. invoices for accruals, adjustments, etc) are processed and posted in the system during the period end closing process.
Prepare supplier balance reconciliation reports against the General ledger balance and ensure that any variances or discrepancies are
properly resolved.
Prepare and generate reports and statistics detailing AP transactions as and when required.
Execute petty cash activities such as petty cash establishment and petty cash replenishment.
Ensure accuracy and validity of transactions processed in the petty cash fund.
Provide timely and accurate information to external and internal auditors as and when required.
Skills & Requirements:
- The job holder will have knowledge of processing supplier invoices, petty cash, and AP period end closing activities.
- The job holder will also have knowledge of IFRS, payment terms and conditions and statutory laws and regulations/implications.
- Certification is required in any area for ongoing professional development or for mandatory purposes.
