Job Description
Job Title: Lead / Senior Interior Designer
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full interior design process from concept development through to detailed design, documentation, and site execution.
Create and present innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling design concepts that align with client goals and project requirements.
Develop mood boards, space planning layouts, material boards, and detailed design presentations for client and stakeholder approvals.
Coordinate with architectural teams, consultants, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of interior design with overall project delivery.
Specify materials, finishes, FF&E, lighting, and accessories that meet design standards, project budgets, and functional requirements.
Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and mock-ups to ensure quality and compliance with the design intent.
Lead and oversee on-site design execution, ensuring detailing, materials, and installation quality match approved designs.
Participate in client meetings, communicate design direction effectively, and provide expert recommendations during all project stages.
Mentor and guide junior interior designers and draftsmen, ensuring timely delivery of design packages and compliance with quality standards.
Keep up with global trends, sustainable design practices, and innovations in materials and finishes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
1015 years of proven experience in residential, hospitality, and commercial interior design projects across all stages.
Strong conceptual and technical skills with a portfolio showcasing a variety of project types.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, authority regulations, and local compliance standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; 3D visualization tools are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong leadership and client-facing abilities.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain design excellence.
High attention to detail, creativity, and a strong sense of materiality and spatial composition.
