About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Purchaser to join our trading division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, building supplier networks, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of marine and industrial materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily purchase requirements for marine equipment, spare parts, and consumables.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Generate and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.

Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases.

Coordinate with internal departments for stock planning and requisition approvals.

Follow up with logistics and warehouse for order receipt and inventory updates.

Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies and cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 35 years of procurement experience in a marine or industrial trading environment.

Diploma or Bachelor&aposs degree in Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or related fields.

Strong knowledge of marine equipment, spares, and consumables.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP or similar).

Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
