Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a Marine Construction and Maintenance Project based in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Civil Engineer with a strong background in marine infrastructure, including the construction or maintenance of ports, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, and related marine structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities related to marine construction and maintenance works.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, site workers, and consultants to ensure smooth progress of works.
- Monitor progress, track daily activities, and prepare reports for project managers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks of marine structures, materials, and workmanship.
- Assist in preparing site measurements, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.
- Resolve any technical issues or site challenges that may arise during construction or maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience specifically in marine construction or maintenance projects.
- Strong understanding of marine construction methods, equipment, and environmental factors.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Knowledge of local authority requirements and procedures.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams on site.
