About the Emirates Golf Federation
The Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) is the national governing body for golf in the United Arab Emirates, responsible for developing and promoting the sport at all levels, from grassroots participation through to elite competition. Operating under the umbrella of the UAE National Olympic Committee, the EGF manages amateur handicap systems, governs national championships, and serves as the representative body for UAE golf on the international stage.
As golf continues to grow across the region, the EGF is investing in its communications infrastructure to better serve its members, partners, sponsors, and the wider golfing community. This newly structured role represents an exciting opportunity to shape the federation's digital presence and stakeholder engagement.
Role Description
The EGF are seeking a creative, organised, and proactive Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role that sits at the heart of how the EGF communicates with its stakeholders, from member clubs and sponsors to national governing bodies and the general public.
Working closely with the Director of Operations, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the EGF's digital asset ecosystem, lead the production of compelling content across all platforms, and ensure that all communications are delivered in a structured, timely, and brand-consistent manner.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a marketing & communications role.
- Demonstrable portfolio of design work, video production, and/or content marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing social media accounts and marketing platforms in a professional context.
- Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and grammatically accurate copy in English & Arabic.
- Experience in Marketing Communications and crafting impactful Press Releases.
- Strong Writing skills, with the ability to develop clear and compelling content.
- Ability to create and implement integrated communication strategies
- Knowledge of the golf industry is a distinct advantage.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
