About the role
In this role you will work directly with a wide range of clients across several industries to support them transform their Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) capabilities across process, technology, data, and people with special emphasis on clients within the energy sector looking at finance transformation.
You will build and maintain strong networks internally and externally to grow the opportunities pipeline of FAAS service line, report directly to directors and partners at the pursuit, planning, execution, and wrap-up stages of FAAS engagements, and ensure work is of the highest quality, delivered timely, and in compliance with EY quality and risk management policies and operational excellence.

To qualify for the role, you must have- 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within Big 4 or leading consulting firms, focusing on EPM transformation and the broader finance and operational excellence agenda of the CFO.
- A bachelor's or masteru2019s degree in finance and/or accounting or equivalent.
- CPA, CA, or ACCA certification.
- Experience across assessment and improvement of EPM (i.e., planning & budgeting; forecasting; financial close, consolidation & reporting; management reporting; analytics) operating models with focus on the following dimensions:
- Processes
- Introducing or enhancing enabling technologies such as OneStream, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, etc.
- Defining data requirements for fit-for-purpose data models
- Defining people requirements
- Governance best practices
- Experience in driving and managing large transformation projects with cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to and understanding of finance systems landscape and architecture with specific focus on ERP - EPM solution touchpoints.
- A selling mindset with ability to develop u201cwowu201d proposals that address client requirements.
- Builds positive and credible relationships with clients with integrity and authenticity.
- Fluent in written and verbal English communication, presentation skills, and client interactions.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexible and willing to travel on short notice, as necessary.
- Understanding of Abu Dhabi marketplace and large clients and accounts (ADNOC, ADQ, TAQA, etc.).
- Strong team player with team building and leading skills.
- Industry experience in leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function would be a plus.
