Overview of the role
As the Program Manager, you will be the strategic driver and project management lead for launching and optimizing phygital store experiences across key GCC markets. This role demands a consultative approach with a solution-oriented mindset, seamlessly integrating physical retail with digital innovation to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities- Strategic consulting & project management:
- Lead the end-to-end project management of phygital store initiatives, including conceptualization, planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, offering strategic solutions to enhance in-store digital integration.
- Develop and implement project roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Establish KPIs for monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to guide phygital strategy.
- Retail operations excellence:
- Oversee commercial planning, ensuring inventory management, merchandising, and stock availability are optimized.
- Ensure pricing consistency to drive revenue growth while managing profitability margins.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational compliance and high standards in store execution.
- Drive operational efficiency by integrating digital tools for seamless store management.
- Measure store staff efficiencies and monitor with proper KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure proper execution in each outlet from sourcing to supply chain, inventory management, retail execution (merchandising, pricing, stock, category management) in line with the corporate strategy.
- Ensure proper execution at store level in every single asset to ensure stock availability, range, space, and displays in line with category strategy and customer profile.
- Ensure pricing consistency to generate higher revenue while managing mix margin in line with budgets.
- Oversee the sourcing and operations activities of retail business at Dubai Holding Entertainment across all the assets of the company.
- Execute the strategy set to achieve targets related to revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction.
- Customer experience & brand activation:
- Champion a customer-centric approach, enhancing in-store and digital touchpoints for an omnichannel experience.
- Collaborate with larger group marketing teams to execute in-store activations.
- Ensure brand representation aligns with the business's vision, enhancing customer engagement through interactive digital experiences.
- Set clear, ambitious targets for all marketing activities, monitor performance, and adapt plans based on insights.
- Collaborate to gather insights and refine strategies for effective marketing and branding of new and existing products.
- Digital integration & innovation:
- Define and execute the phygital strategy, blending e-commerce, digital marketing, and physical retail.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to ensure brand awareness and traffic generation to online platforms.
- Coordinate for digital campaigns on owned/internal first-party loyalty database or pay-per-click performance marketing on third-party database and top channels like Google, Meta, TikTok that resonate with the GCC demographic.
- Utilize data analytics to track customer behavior, optimize store layouts, and improve digital engagement strategies.
- Stakeholder management & collaboration:
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment.
- Develop creative briefs and manage relationships with agencies and brand headquarters for marketing and digital activations.
- Coordinate with retail teams to align store operations with digital objectives, creating a holistic customer journey.
- Drive sales, maximize profit and business steering:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Drive the retail agenda in line with commercial priorities, taking a fully integrated cross-functional view to secure the long-term business direction of the markets and contributing insights in order to secure the overall performance of the business.
- Contribute to the business overall direction, business plan process, business transformation, and change agenda, with the core leadership team.
- Consulting background and solutioning mindset.
