Project Manager / Strategy & Management Consulting (Oil & Gas)

Job Description

Location: Dubai, UAE | Type: Contract (3–4 Months, Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a management consulting and strategy background to join a short-term, high-impact engagement in the oil and gas sector, based in Dubai. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives, managing the full project lifecycle from scoping through delivery.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategy and consulting projects within oil and gas client environments
• Develop frameworks, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations in close collaboration with client teams
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships, facilitating workshops, steering committees, and executive briefings
• Drive stakeholder engagement plans and ensure alignment across functions and leadership levels
• Maintain rigorous project governance: scope, timeline, risks, and budget
• Produce high-quality deliverables including strategy documents, presentations, and status reports
• Work independently to drive workstreams with minimal supervision

• Background in management consulting or strategy, with demonstrable experience delivering consulting engagements
• Prior experience in the oil and gas sector: upstream, midstream, or downstream strongly preferred
• Strong project management skills: structured, analytical, and comfortable managing complexity
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
• Experience facilitating workshops and developing strategic deliverables
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Based in Dubai or immediately available for a Dubai-based engagement

• The compensation for this role ranges from AED29,200 to AED43,800 and will depend on seniority and years of relevant experience

Engagement Details

This is a full-time contract position for 3 to 4 months. Extensions may be considered based on project needs and performance.
