QA/QC Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation (Oil and Gas)

ADNOC project experience is mandatory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, specifications, and client requirements during the engineering phase.
• Review and approve E&I engineering deliverables, drawings, datasheets, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.
• Develop, review, and implement quality plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality procedures for E&I deliverables and vendor packages.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and vendor teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into vendor procurement packages.
• Conduct vendor document reviews, inspections, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) activities for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Interface with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and vendors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor and manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and preventive actions throughout the engineering and procurement phases.
• Support internal and external audits in compliance with ADNOC quality requirements.
• Prepare quality-related reports, status updates, and KPI performance summaries for management and clients.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation in onshore oil and gas projects.
• Strong background in Engineering Phase: FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design.
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience with thorough knowledge of ADNOC specifications and standards.
• Hands-on experience with vendor procurement packages including review, inspection, and FAT.
• Strong understanding of IEC, IEEE, ISA, and other relevant international E&I standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
