Qualification:
Engineering graduate in aeronautical / equivalent qualification.Specialized in aviation management / MBA / EMBA preferable.
Basic license Part 66 / BAMEL DGCA India preferable.
Aircraft type familiarization recommended.
CAR M familiar and trained.
Human factors trained.
Fuel tank safety and CDCCL trained.
MS Office and ERP i.e. RAL (Windows / Oracle based). ICDL preferable.
Crew resource management trained.
Must have attended aircraft maintenance planning course and experienced on CAMP, CMP, CESCOM, FLIGHT DOCS maintenance tracking and scheduling system.
QSM course or any audit course would be an added advantage.
Experience requirements:
A minimum of 5 years plus experience in OPS / CAMO / MRO in commercial / corporate general aviation organizations satisfying CAR M environment, of which majority should be in supervisory / managerial position.Thorough knowledge of various regulatory authorities: India DGCA, UAE GCAA, Bermuda BDCA, Cayman CAA, EASA operations / continuing airworthiness management organization (CAMO) current regulation.
Fully conversant with process and procedures of aircraft operations / CAMO / CAR 145 under local regulations.
Should have held position of responsibility for coordinating with the operation control cell (OCC) and maintenance control cell (MCC) to meet the commercial requirement and monitor the engineering requirement to ensure the availability of aircraft at required stations.
Must have played interactive role with Maintrol ensuring that all scheduled maintenance has been identified, called up, carried out, appropriately certified, and returned to the planning department for promulgation to the technical records department.
Knowledge about short-term maintenance requirements, time-limited component changes, and MEL / MCO deferrals and coordination with base planning, materials, and EAG designated maintenance station personnel for integration of non-routine and MEL deferrals into scheduled line maintenance events.
Experienced in compilation of a weekly report reflecting all component changes and formulating these into a progressive report by aircraft serial number for reliability and budget analysis along with recovery and analysis of man hours expended on defect rectification against scheduled maintenance including the establishment of accurate man hour projections against all aircraft major components.
Must be conversant with progressive development of a computerized engineering order system and work card control system for both scheduled maintenance and the attendant defect control system.Knowledge of fleet material planning and identification of all material requirements including but not limited to specialized test equipment and tooling, aircraft parts that are required to fully support the company requirements.
Key company requirements:
- Liaisoning with DGCA office for all correspondence and organization requirements.
- Preparation of documents for obtaining C of R, C of A, recommendation for issuance of ARC, aeromobile license, and RVSM compliance and ensuring validity maintained.
- Preparation of all DGCA documentation (CAR compliance, RVSM compliance, etc.).
- Able to perform quality function as per regulatory requirement (i.e. DGCA) and internal audit.
- Regular scrutiny of maintenance contract.
- Regular scrutiny and review of all AD / ASB / SB and controlled documents / registers.
- Fully conversant with amendment of CAME, TSP, EPM to comply with current regulatory requirements.
- Coordination with company base / AMO for servicing of aircraft and the requirement of spares in case of AOG.
- Conversant with preparation of minimum equipment list (MEL) from MMEL.
- Updating of logbooks, schedules, and component history cards.
- Upkeep of JLB, pilot defect reports, and CRS.
- Preparing log entries pertaining to inspection schedules, component replacement, repair, and modification data.
- Ensure on-time download and updating of CVR readout / FDR data for FDM program.
- Preparation of aircraft status for compliance with aircraft maintenance program to monitor TBO schedule / unscheduled maintenance inspection.
- Reviewing, compiling due list, and updating of various computerized maintenance programs such as CAMP, CESCOM, Flight Docs, CMP, including wheel and brake register, weight growth register, etc.
- Review of various OEM maintenance service programs: Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan (HAPP), P & W Maintenance Service Program (MSP), P & W Eagle Service Program (ESP), Falcon Care, Smart Maintenance Plus, Smart Parts and ensuring monthly aircraft utilization updated on system and invoice generated, etc.
- Preparation of cost calculation chart as per aircraft maintenance service program and monthly maintenance charge.
- Preparing and providing all kinds of documentation required for day-to-day business.
- Coordination with other group companies for various operational / engineering requirements on daily basis and providing updates.
