Overview of Services to be provided by Legal Counsel (MESA).- Providing legal counsel for the Group's business activities in Middle East & South Asia (MESA) as may be required by the Company.
- Providing legal support and advice to the group's business activities in MESA
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial and corporate contracts relating to the exploitation of commercial rights to sporting events.
- Managing and performing the corporate secretarial function for all the Group companies in MESA.
- Providing general advice on legal matters arising from the Group's corporate structure and operations across MESA.
- Providing legal support and advice on general corporate and company secretarial matters.
- Developing and updating legal precedents as required.
- Liaising with external counsel and regional offices on a variety of legal matters.
- Advising on and managing compliance matters relating to the Group's MESA business.
- Supporting the implementation of Group's policies and training.
- Reporting regularly and as required on all legal, corporate secretarial and compliance matters to VP Legal Affairs (APAC).
- Experience working within the Sports Industry is preferable (within the MESA region is preferred).
- Knowledge of English common law is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years experience preferred
