Job purpose

Create new procedures or edit existing procedures required to implement Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) Technical Specifications, Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Basis requirements for Maintenance Surveillance Test (ST), Periodic Test (PT) and Maintenance Technical procedures.

Verify that documents comply with Technical Specifications, FSAR and PM Basis requirements, are appropriately edited and aligned with existing maintenance procedures.

Activity: Nawah maintenance procedures

Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Coordinate with functional area leads to create new procedures or edit existing procedures required to implement BNPP Technical Specifications, FSAR and PM Basis requirements for Maintenance Surveillance Test (ST), Periodic Test (PT) and Maintenance Technical procedures.
  • Perform in the field (plant) verification and validation of Maintenance ST, PT and Technical procedures to ensure accuracy and usability per DCM-PRC-0003, Procedure Changes and Generation.
  • Perform in the field (plant) SME support to Plant Maintenance during first implementation of maintenance procedures.
  • Perform assigned reviews to ensure procedure changes are technically correct and in compliance with all design and regulatory requirements in area of responsibility.
  • Complete and maintain Qualified Reviewer (QR) qualification per DCM-PRC-0021, Station Qualified Reviewer.

Activity: Plant maintenance support

Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Perform in the field (plant) as SME support to Plant Maintenance during first implementation of maintenance procedures.
  • Mentor and support plant Maintenance during implementation of infrequently performed procedures in SME area of responsibility.

Activity: Continuous improvement

Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Participate in departmental assessments to assist in the continuous improvement of department performance.
  • Participate in benchmarking as assigned to improve performance.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bacheloru2019s Degree, preferably Electrical I&C.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Bacheloru2019s Degree in Engineering or technical field.
