A prominent family office in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Head of Asset Management – Real Estate to lead the strategic oversight, optimization, and growth of its diverse real estate portfolio. This high-impact leadership role requires a visionary and hands-on asset management professional who can drive portfolio performance across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use properties, while aligning investments with the family’s long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies for a diversified real estate portfolio.
- Drive operational and financial performance to maximize Net Operating Income (NOI) and asset value.
- Oversee property management teams and external service providers to ensure operational excellence.
- Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities, including acquisitions, developments, and joint ventures.
- Lead real estate transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.
- Manage portfolio financials, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and market risks.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives in property management and asset performance monitoring.
- Integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into asset strategies and decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing asset management team.
- Act as the main liaison with key stakeholders, including family principals, investment committees, and external partners.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or Master’s in Real Estate is highly preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or MRICS are considered a strong advantage.
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in real estate investment and asset management.
- Proven track record in managing large, diversified portfolios in the GCC region.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, deal execution, and real estate market analysis.
- Deep understanding of UAE property laws, real estate development processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Outstanding leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ethical standards, fiduciary responsibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Digital savvy, with a strong inclination to adopt PropTech and data-driven management practices.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
