Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Project Engineer- Garbage Chute system, shall be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing garbage chute systems in construction projects. The job will include working together with the main contractors, and other parties to make sure that effective waste management methods are incorporated into building plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely completion of the identified scope of works in Garbage chute systems.
• Develop project plans and timelines for garbage chute installation within construction projects.
• Review requirements, specification, technical design documents and prepare submittals for contractor/consultant/client approval.
• Collaborate with main contractors and design teams to integrate garbage chute systems into building plans.
• Preparing documentations related to the inspections, approvals, and related tasks.
• Estimate project costs, including materials, labour, and equipment required for garbage chute installation..
• Coordinate with procurement teams to source required materials and equipment.
• Supervise the installation of garbage chute systems during the construction phase.
• Liaise with the main contractors and construction teams to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standard.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and implement corrective measures as and when required.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and health and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in project engineering, preferably with a focus garbage chute installation system..
• Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and adapt to changing requirements.
• UAE driving license is a prerequisite.
