Civil Engineer (Wind) – Bidding

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with strong expertise in wind power EPC projects, particularly in bidding and execution. The role will involve preparing competitive tenders, developing BOQs, coordinating design inputs, and ensuring alignment with project technical and commercial requirements.Candidates with WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) design experience will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities
Lead civil engineering input for wind EPC project bidding processes, ensuring competitive, compliant, and technically sound submissions.
Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial) to optimize bid strategies.
Provide technical solutions and value engineering proposals during the bidding stage.
Review and integrate WTG foundation and infrastructure design requirements into bid documents.
Support project execution teams by providing technical clarifications during construction.
Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and discussions with clients or consultants as needed.
Assist in preliminary and detailed design development for wind project civil works.
Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, and EPC contractual requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in civil engineering for wind power EPC projects, with proven bidding and/or execution experience.
Strong knowledge of wind EPC project processes, particularly foundation, road, and crane platform works.
Demonstrated experience in BOQ preparation and cost estimation for wind projects.
Some civil design experience; WTG foundation/infrastructure design experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar).
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
Fluency in English; other languages are an advantage.
