About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with strong expertise in Solar PV EPC projects to join our bidding team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have participated in at least one Solar PV project of 50MW or above, with proven experience in EPC bidding or execution.The role will involve preparing BOQs, reviewing designs, and supporting tender submissions for both Solar PV and Wind EPC projects, with Solar PV expertise as the priority.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the preparation, review, and submission of tender documents for Solar PV and Wind EPC projects.
Prepare accurate and detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works in Solar PV projects.
Review project drawings, specifications, and design layouts to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
Support cost estimation, quantity take-off, and civil works scope definition during bidding.
Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather technical inputs for bids.
Provide civil engineering input for value engineering, construction methodology, and scheduling during tender preparation.
Assist in technical clarifications with clients and subcontractors during the bidding process.
Support the transition from bidding to execution for awarded projects, ensuring continuity and alignment of design and scope.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in civil engineering within Solar PV EPC projects.
Must have participated in at least one Solar PV project of 50MW or above.
Proven experience in EPC execution or bidding for Solar PV projects (execution experience is preferred).
Strong experience in preparing BOQ and understanding of construction quantities.
Some experience in design review or basic design work is preferred.
Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices for renewable energy civil works.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in Wind EPC project bidding is an advantage, but Solar PV experience is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software.
