Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Turnaround Operations Coordinator to support a major ADNOC Turnaround (TAR) project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing shutdown, decontamination, catalyst change-out, commissioning, and start-up activities while ensuring operational excellence and minimizing turnaround duration.
The role requires strong coordination with Operations, Process, Maintenance, Contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all pre-turnaround and execution activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Challenge and optimize ADNOC Operations teams strategies for shutdown, decontamination, commissioning, and start-up activities, with a strong focus on reducing turnaround duration.
- Review and challenge operational methodologies for catalyst change activities, ensuring efficient integration with other turnaround tasks during the execution window.
- Monitor and report the progress of operational preparation activities, identifying existing bottlenecks and recommending practical solutions for timely resolution.
- Prepare comprehensive Blind Lists and coordinate their submission to the contractor for execution.
- Coordinate and manage SIMOPs (Simultaneous Operations) activities in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to ensure safe and effective execution.
- Participate actively in Field Risk Assessments (FRA) and Task Risk Assessments (TRA) meetings, ensuring operational risks are identified and mitigated.
- Ensure the identification, tracking, and timely completion of all Pre-Turnaround activities.
- Coordinate between Operations, Process Engineering, Turnaround Team, and Contractors for equipment scheduling and execution planning.
- Review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to identify Non-TAR equipment and coordinate Pre-TAR and Post-TAR activities with Operations.
- Support the preparation and development of the Turnaround Scope of Work.
- During turnaround execution, ensure decontamination activities are performed in accordance with the approved schedule and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to prepare the Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) plan and schedule.
- Facilitate and manage PSSR activities in compliance with all required governance procedures and provide continuous feedback for schedule optimization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas Turnaround/Shutdown Projects, preferably with ADNOC or major refinery/petrochemical facilities.
