JOB DESCRIPTION IN BRIEF

LPG Commercial Sites:

• Manage first-level maintenance issues and coordinate with contractors to resolve corporate, retail and residential customer concerns efficiently.
• Act as the first point of contact for LPG customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing technical and maintenance requests.
• Plan, schedule, and track Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities; issue work orders through Maximo and monitor completion.
• Routine LPG metering management of the Residential and Retail LPG metered customers to record and collection of the meter reading before deadline.
• Ensuring accurate monthly uploading of meter reading in the Fusion system for invoice generation.
• Coordinate with customers, clients and contractors to arrange site access, permits, and safe execution of maintenance (PM/CM/RM) works
• Collect, review, and maintain reports, PM logs, and technical records to ensure compliance and prevent breakdowns.
• Verify PM reports, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions to improve safety and reliability of LPG systems.
• Obtain quotations for spare parts in line with the schedule of contract and negotiate competitive pricing for the out of schedule spare parts from the contractors.
• Obtain all the reports from the contractor after each maintenance related works carried out
• Share PPM/CM reports with customers, clients and FMSP service providers, ensuring transparency and compliance with service standards.
• Prioritize new maintenance requests, gas connection activations, and urgent tasks based on the requirement.
• Coordinate with the contractor for all the assigned works to ensure the work is completed to the required standards.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve customer complaints related to maintenance Services.
• Notify and provide the supporting documents to sales team to raise invoices for the chargeable services to client/ customers
• Monitor and coordinate gas filling schedules, including emergency deliveries and sites without telemetry devices, as per the business requirements.
• Monitor the working of Tank telemetry devices and coordinate with the contractor to resolve the issues to avoid operational emergencies.
• Conduct random site inspections to verify contractor performance and compliance with NFPA and UAE Fire code safety guidelines.
• Assist with tender preparation, pre-delivery inspections for new sites, and attend client meetings for new enquiries and maintenance services, as and when required.
• Participate in tender technical evaluations, reviewing contractor technical submissions and recommending the most suitable service providers.
• Monitor contractor and vendor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs, escalate non-compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings to review performance, address concerns, and align on upcoming service requirements, as and when required.

LPG Distribution Plant:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for compressors, pumps, conveyors and instrumentation devices at the LPG distribution center.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate plant maintenance activities with technicians, contractors, and supervisors to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage corrective maintenance for breakdowns, ensuring safe and timely resolution.
• Enforce permit-to-work systems (Hot Work, Cold Work) and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and inspection agencies for specialized maintenance, testing & certifications.
• Collect and maintain maintenance records, inspection certificates, calibration logs, and compliance documentation.
• Request quotations, negotiate prices, and manage procurement of spare parts required for maintenance and emergency works.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns with operations teams to minimize interruptions to LPG operations.
• Support plant supervisors by coordinating contractors and ensuring maintenance jobs are executed to required quality and safety standards.
• Conduct random site visit to ensure the all the equipment's are in operational to meet the operational requirement.
• Participate in tender technical evaluations for plant services, reviewing contractor technical submissions and recommending the most suitable service providers.

• Graduate in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Minimum 5 Years experience in LPG Technical field (LPG Installations/Plant)
• Civil Defense Card/Knowledge of UAE LPG Regulations
• Proficiency in computer systems
• Salary : 4,600 AED
