The Standards & Compliance Training Specialist is responsible to ensure regulatory compliance of Emirates Group Security Training (EGST) in line with Emirates Group values, applicable regulatory requirements, national and international standards and best practices.This role supports training delivery processes and maintains training records for audit and regulatory review purposes, in line with the Security Management System.
In this role you will:
- Conduct internal audits of EGST policies, procedures, trainer qualifications, course content and security training manuals in line with the AOSP, NCASTP, IOSA, ISAGO and other relevant regulations and requirements.
- Manage and support the performance of the administrators and develop their skills and knowledge. Oversee the EGST technical support for a seamless training delivery support function.
- Be fully responsible for third party billing through EGS Finance team and management of training records and certification. Maintain and update the training reporting dashboard.
- Update and maintain the EGST Training & Procedures Manual. Conduct regular reviews against the AOSP and make recommendations for updates to AVSEC Regulatory Affairs team.
- Be fully responsible for EGST facilities, resource maintenance and enhancement projects to effectively support training delivery, classrooms and inventory management.
- Ensure EGS training content and trainer records are prepared and maintained for application to the GCAA in order to maintain EGST accreditation as an approved Aviation Security Training Organization in line with NCASTP requirements.
- Ensure management of attendance records and issue certificates where required. Ensure e-learning compliance, retention and maintenance of records for all security training courses, trainers and trainees.
- Support the security culture within the Emirates Group by enhancing security awareness through aircrew and ground personnel communications. Complete security training risk assessments and support other related functions and projects in line with the Security Management System.
- Compile performance statistics for trainers, trainees and training sessions, share these with the relevant stakeholders to ensure a continuous high standard of training delivery.
- Be responsible to review security training assessments regularly to ensure question banks are in line with current training content and relevant security content in manuals.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Completed degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- 5+ years of relevant AVSEC experience
- Knowledge of international security regulations & requirements
- Knowledge of training course design & performance management
- Knowledge of audits & inspection processes and regulatory compliance
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Advanced business writing skills
