We currently have a vacancy to join a leading provider of comprehensive aviation services based in the Middle East, as Instructor A&P Super Puma & Panther. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and offers a full relocation package for the successful candidate.
The company specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region. Whilst their head office is based in Abu Dhabi, they have a number of operational facilities across various UAE military bases and aviation sites.The company plays a key role in supporting the UAE Armed Forces and other regional air forces. They support a wide range of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including military helicopters such as Black Hawks, Chinooks and Apaches as well as transport aircraft such as C130 Hercules.
Their services include line and base maintenance, avionics, airframe and engine repair and comprehensive logistical support.
Reporting to the Manager as an Instructor A&P Super Puma & Panther will conduct, and assist in the development of, maintenance training programs to enhance the skills of trainees, will conduct a platform and other instruction with trainee assessment and will provide remedial training where necessary, will review/amend course material in order to ensure training effectiveness and maintain records of training activities and of student attendance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform instruction on aircraft maintenance fundamentals, safety, inspection, technical publications, aircraft systems and components, aviation regulations and other related topics.
- Work with course developers, providing the necessary technical information and guidance.
- Review, assist in the development of, and/or revise courses using the systems approach (SAT or ADDIE).
- Prepare program syllabi detailing maintenance courses which will be conducted to produce employees qualified to perform aircraft maintenance.
- Prepare classes in support of specific platform and other syllabi. Classes should be planned to cater for trainees with varying degrees of subject matter knowledge.
- Conduct desired classroom and platform instruction as required. Classes should be presented in such a fashion that learning is progressive and effective.
- Perform intermediate and terminal assessments to determine the extent to which learning is taking place. Each assessment shall be documented to maintain accountability and to assist in recognizing any trends in those areas where obstacles to training exist.
- Review assessment reports and course evaluations to amend training courses, as necessary, to ensure effectiveness of training.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage the learning process.
- Responsible for general housekeeping for all assigned areas.
- Maintain trainee records and collaborate with other Instructors.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Training Supervisor or Manager.

About You:
- Civilian aircraft maintenance licence or certificate, e.g. (Mechanical) A&P certificate or B1 licence.
- Bachelors degree in an aircraft maintenance discipline (Airframe/Powerplant; Electrical/Avionics; Aircraft Maintenance technology) is highly desirable.
- Instructional techniques / Train-the-Trainer certificate and/or acceptance/ approval/certification by a civilian/military agency/organization is highly desirable
- Be able to read, write and understand English.
- Must be willing to travel in support of the companys operational requirements.
- Knowledge of computer applications. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite and applications (Word Excel Power Point-Project) Outlook, Adobe and the internet.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Should have strong analytical and research skills.
- Demonstrate ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Able to teach and to encourage personnel to learn.
- Must have strong charismatic and delegating attributes and can work well with other departments.
