About Your Team

You'll report to the Head of Learning & Development, deliver L&D for UAE operations, which will either be ALEC Building or Group Head Office and affiliated businesses.

This role is full time, and follows a Monday to Friday work week, offering weekends off to support work-life balance

Your Role

As a Learning & Development Business Partner, you will:

  • Create an inclusive and dynamic learning and development environment across all areas of our businesses in line with the company strategy and vision and values
  • Identify learning & development needs through training needs analysis and performance reviews as and when requested by the Head of Learning and Development
  • Facilitate the design and delivery of programs for staff within the business with the help of subject matter experts for technical areas
  • Establish strategies to drive a culture of learning, which will encourage commitment to personal and professional development, innovation in working practices, and support a collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Work closely with the various leaders across the business to have a full understanding of their business and learning and development requirements
  • Focus on the career development of teams within the business through developing, creating and/or facilitating soft skill training sessions, coaching sessions, mentoring discussions and assisting in the creation of individual career development plans
  • Execute the Leadership Development Programs and/or Training Programs across all levels of the business to ensure we have the bench strength to support succession planning for new roles and opportunities within the business
  • Communicate career roadmaps for employees within the business as and when required
  • Ensure to effectively communicate to the business on all planned learning initiatives while maintaining accurate records of all initiatives
  • Get regular feedback from the business on the Learning & Development initiatives, share and review this feedback with the Head of Learning and Development and amend any initiatives when needed
  • Arrange and successfully host events related to programs
  • Work on the development of KPIs and performance reviews in line with the P&C Team
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualification in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or 5+ years experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Completed Train the Trainer qualification
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Multi-task and work under pressure
  • Work as part of a team
  • Competent and confident in classroom training delivery
  • Well versed with the latest E-Learning, Gamification and Learning content creation platforms
  • Passionate about People Development
  • Must have keen interest in people
