ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a high-energy Sales Engineer who can hunt for new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive air compressor system sales in the Abu Dhabi market.

Added bonus – we will cross-train you on chillers, boilers and other industrial equipment in our portfolio so you have a better chance of success which means higher revenue and more commissions in the industrial sector.

This is a field-oriented sales role suited to someone who enjoys being in the market daily, identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and converting initial interest into qualified business opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for opening doors, visiting industrial zones and facilities, identifying customer pain points, and developing qualified leads across product and solution categories such as air compressors, dryers, piping solutions, oxygen generators, nitrogen generators, and compressor audits.

This role is designed for a commercially hungry individual who is comfortable with cold visits, market mapping, daily field activity, disciplined follow-up, and structured CRM reporting.

While internal support may assist with detailed technical or commercial follow-up where needed, the candidate must take ownership of generating market activity and building a healthy front-end pipeline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate New Business
  • Actively visit industrial areas, factories, workshops, new industrial construction sites, and facilities in your allocated regions to identify potential customers and generate qualified leads.
  • Prospect potential clients across assigned industrial segments and zones through direct visits, networking, referrals, and market engagement.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through consistent field activity and relationship development.
  • Represent CHS professionally in the market and help strengthen the company’s visibility and commercial presence.
Understand Client Needs and Identify Opportunities
  • Develop a practical understanding of CHS’s industrial utility solutions, including air compressors, dryers, piping solutions, oxygen generators, nitrogen generators etc.
  • Introduce the company and its solutions to potential customers and gather key information such as equipment in use, pain points, current suppliers, decision-makers, and upcoming requirements.
  • Ask commercially intelligent discovery questions to understand technical needs, business pain points, urgency, budget realities, and the likelihood of project movement.
  • Identify stakeholders influencing each opportunity, including owners, plant managers, maintenance teams, procurement contacts, and commercial decision-makers.
Develop and Present Solutions
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Deliver technical presentations and solution discussions with key decision makers.
  • Translate technical features into clear client value, including reliability, lifecycle cost, energy efficiency, performance improvement, and operational suitability.
  • Help qualify opportunities properly before intensive proposal effort is committed.
Negotiate and Close Deals
  • Manage the commercial negotiation process with customers.
  • Convert opportunities into profitable sales orders and long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain structured control of next actions, decision timelines, commercial risks, and closure strategy for each active opportunity.
  • Escalate stalled opportunities appropriately and involve management when required to improve conversion.
Pipeline Management and Reporting Discipline
  • Continuously build and maintain a personal database of prospects across assigned industrial segments and zones.
  • Update CRM and internal tracking tools with daily visit reports, leads generated, follow-up actions, and market feedback.
  • Maintain disciplined visibility over field activity, opportunity status, and next-step actions.
  • Provide management with useful feedback on market trends, competitor activity, customer pain points, and demand patterns
  • Demonstrate strong forecast discipline and timely communication on both live opportunities and lost opportunities.
