Role overview
As a Managing Director Global Premium Services, dnata Airport Operations, you will provide global strategic leadership, vision and operational direction for dnata's Premium Services, ensuring growth, profitability, brand reputation and operational excellence in the airport premium services vertical.You will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies for premium product service lines, including lounges, meet & greet, off airport services and fixed base operators (FBOs), while leading the digitisation strategy to support the premium services business.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy to expand and solidify the company's position as a leader in premium airport services.
- Lead the collaboration in premium services offerings with a one dnata approach across dnata divisional and airport operations regional businesses.
- Drive premium revenue, EBITDA delivery and financial contribution targets by identifying and establishing new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance premium services offering.
- Create, develop and maintain strong and effective internal and external relationships with airports, airlines, regulatory bodies and other key clients such as aggregators, credit card companies and banks.
- Develop a strategy to ensure dnata has the competitive advantage to win premium services tenders by focusing on clear differentiation of products based on quality, service offering and commercial proposition.
- Evaluate and review premium products to ensure they meet service and brand standards, continually enhancing the customer experience. Optimise hospitality services based on customer feedback analysis, industry trends and innovative product designs using data and insights to drive decision-making.
- Support regional and local teams in the implementation of business development opportunities by understanding and sharing insights on global market trends and subsequent deployment of products and services.
- Define global innovation roadmap for premium services to support the development of monetisation models for innovation via proof of concept exercises and focus on technology innovation.
- Develop and oversee the creation of commercial contracts to ensure they align with company objectives and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with legal, finance and business development teams to draft, review and negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions that support the company's strategic goals.
Qualifications & experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, ideally within Business Administration or similar and 12+ years' experience in airport operations.
You'll have an edge if you have:
- Experience in a similar premium services/hospitality leadership role.
- Dynamic global leadership with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
