Job Description
The role of the Marketing Executive will assist and support the Marketing Manager in all aspects of marketing for the given asset portfolio: Yas Marina and The Fountains. This includes supporting the development of marketing strategies, assisting in conceptualizing annual marketing calendars and managing the execution of marketing calendars, on-ground events and campaigns.Support in maintaining relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance the awareness of the assets falling under the entity and supporting on delivering key objectives for the destination, including but not limited to: increased footfall, driving tenant sales, repeat visitation and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assists the Marketing Manager to develop marketing strategies and annual operating plans.
- Assists the Marketing Manager to develop and implement the annual marketing and event plan for all assets within the portfolio.
- Executes integrated marketing, communications and event plans on time, based on the overall marketing strategy and annual plans.
- Manages and takes the lead on campaigns and/or events under the support and guidance of the Associate/Marketing Manager adhering to KPIs.
- Provide support with project management and execution of logistics and event management of all onsite activation events (including tenant events) to support destination marketing.
- Prepares monthly marketing reports and post campaign reports and identifies areas of improvement.
- Conducts basic market research, analyses market conditions and competitors to support overall marketing strategy for assets portfolio.
- Executes purchase requisites, recording and maintain marketing expenditure (POs, invoices, booking orders and voucher inventory) when required.

- Regularly coordinate with tenants and Yas Island stakeholders to maintain and ensure the marketing and event calendar is in alignment tenant and stakeholder activities, promoting the destinations and achieving KPIs.
- Manages all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
- Manages all filming requests and permit requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintains internal and external communication and relationships with key stakeholders, tenants, property and agency partners.
- Assists the Marketing Manager in developing relationships with key brand and media partners for crosspromotions and barter deals to minimize advertising costs and keep a competitive advantage.
- Manages requirements and requests from stakeholders in a timely manner (both internal and external).
- Organizes and manages all required permits including but not limited to filming requests, activations, promotions and events.
- Provides day-to-day marketing support for the asset portfolio undertaking tasks as directed by management. Carries out all other duties that may be required from the business from time to time.
- Leads on-ground execution of destination events, and is required to work on-site on event days and nights.
- Maintains and manages the monthly audit of giveaways, passes and vouchers where applicable and when required.
- Serve as liaison with vendors, suppliers, stakeholders and tenants on event-related matters.
- Keep accurate records of all communication and ensure that all agreed deadlines are adhered to, including management of suppliers and event budgets if required.
- Maintain and ensure promotional marketing and events material is well organized and updated to reflect asset portfolio.
- In possession of a formal marketing or business qualification or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing and events environment, preferably within the tourism/hospitality/ destination marketing/retail or events industry.
- Experience in liaising with suppliers, clients, stakeholders and internal teams and managing suppliers.
- Onsite event management and logistics experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and written and spoken English (Arabic a plus but not essential).
- A good standard of computer literacy. In possession of a valid driving license. Autonomous hard worker with a hands on, can do approach and flexible approach to working hours during events.
