About the Role:
- We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to accelerate our presence and growth in the Middle East for our Payroll solution. This role blends business development, with 30% of the role focused directly on sales conversion. You will identify opportunities, shape market conversations, and support expansion initiatives tailored to the region's unique payroll and compliance landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development- Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and key influencers across the GCC and broader Middle East.
- Strengthen relationships with existing partners to drive mutual growth.
- Understand client payroll challenges and position our Payroll solution effectively.
- Partner with Marketing to execute lead generation campaigns, thought leadership content, and regional events, with a strong focus on generating qualified opportunities and adding new pipeline to the CRM.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis; share insights with Product and Strategy teams to enhance local market fit.
- Build and nurture a strong industry network; actively represent the brand in regional payroll and HR tech forums.
Key Deliverables:
- Market Mapping: Monthly report of prospects and potential partners by segment (enterprise, mid-size).
- Pipeline Growth: New Pipeline addition in CRM should be 5x the Order Booking targets
- Lead Engagement: Minimum 10 new high-potential outreach contacts per month.
- Sales Conversions: Meet quarterly sales targets representing 30% of total role accountability.
- Product Feedback Loop: Monthly insights from market conversations submitted to product team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in business development or solution sales, ideally in SaaS, payroll, or HR tech.
- Proven experience in or strong understanding of the Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar, etc.) business environment.
- Familiarity with payroll compliance, HR workflows, and regional regulations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
