Are you an experienced commercial dry bulk logisitcs professional with strong network within the African and GCC region looking to join a growing transhipment logistics business in Dubai

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your contacts and be part of new deal execution from origination within the iron ore, coal and minerals/metals market.

If you are an experienced bulk carrier chartering manager or someone with prior transhipment/barging background, we look forward to hearing from you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Originate and develop new business opportunities in floating logistics, transhipment, and barging.
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution including structuring, negotiation, and closure.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain long-term client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational readiness and service delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at industry forums and client engagements.
  • Support development of new services aligned with client and market demands.
  • Travel extensively across Africa and the GCC to support business activities.
  • Commercial modelling and risk management expertise
  • Identify, structure, and close logistics deals in Africa and the GCC
  • Build company&aposs commercial presence in the dry bulk segment
  • Drive market insights and strategic recommendations
  • Manage external client relationships and internal project handovers

Ideal Candidate requirement:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Maritime, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 1015+ years of experience in business development or commercial roles within shipping, dry bulk logistics, commodity trading, or related sectors
  • Deep understanding of commodity logistics and floating logistics operations
  • Proven track record in executing complex transhipment and barging deals
  • Strong negotiation and commercial structuring capabilities
  • Market knowledge of Africa and the GCC regions
