Duration: 23 months internship
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Interns receive hands-on training, skill-building mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful Arabic education mission.
Certificates/Letters of Completion will be provided upon successful completion of the internship.
Role Summary
Were looking for a passionate, creative Social Media Intern to join our team and help grow our online presence.
This role is ideal for someone who loves Arabic culture and wants to build their skills in digital storytelling, content creation, and community engagement. Youll help us showcase classroom moments, Arabic expressions, student milestones, and the beauty of the Arabic language through Reels, Stories, and other formats.
Responsibilities- Create and edit short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
- Manage and schedule posts across platforms using Meta Business Suite
- Develop engaging captions and cultural explanations for Arabic content
- Respond to community comments and DMs to build engagement
- Assist in tracking performance metrics and adjusting content accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and team members to gather raw content and ideas
- Support in maintaining a consistent and warm brand voice
- Passion for Arabic language and culture (you dont need to be fluent, but you should care deeply)
- Social media savvy especially Instagram and TikTok
- Experience with tools like CapCut, Canva, and Meta Suite (or willingness to learn)
- Strong writing and communication skills (English essential; Arabic a plus)
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Creative, consistent, and willing to experiment
- Experience with newsletter platforms like Substack
- Comfort speaking on camera or directing teachers for video
- Familiarity with basic analytics or reporting tools
